We invite anybody interested in the issues and topics we focus our efforts on to join.

Red RoseBenefits of Joining. You will have the opportunity to talk to other members and hear positive feedback about how to cope with tinnitus. You will receive a quarterly magazine called Quiet direct from the British Tinnitus Association. The magazine is always very informative with articles by professionals in the field, letters, updates on the latest research and much more. Our group sends out a newsletter twice a year keeping you updated on what is happening locally.

Meetings generally have a speaker whose subject has some connections with health/well being and there is always someone to advise on tinnitus issues.Followed by a question and answer session and a cup of tea/biscuits. We also have a bring and buy table. Proceeds go towards running costs Our group has a selection of tapes/cd's and books together with various pieces of equipment which may help those experiencing tinnitus. Any item may be borrowed by members for a small deposit which is refundable.

How can you join?

We are always looking for people interested in joining our group.

Please send a cheque or postal order for £15.00 to cover membership of one year payable to The Bournemouth & District Tinnitus Group, with your name address, telephone number and e-mail to The Treasurer, Mrs S Barling Mayfield, 62 Frances Road, BH1 3SA. 01202 551839

£10.00 goes to the British Tinnitus Association a registered charity of which we are members. The other £5.00 goes towards running costs of the group, hire of the hall for monthly meetings, speaker expenses and most important public liability insurance and administration costs.
